Position Overview
FedEx Ground is hiring Package Handlers for early morning, evening, and overnight shifts at local hub and sorting facilities. In this physically demanding warehouse role, you will load, unload, and sort packages on high-speed conveyor systems. No prior experience is required — FedEx provides full paid training for all new hires.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles and trailers onto conveyor belts and sorting systems.
- Sort packages by destination zip code and route using automated scanning equipment.
- Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow all FedEx safety protocols at all times.
- Handle packages weighing up to 75 lbs with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Meet or exceed hourly throughput targets while maintaining scan accuracy above 99%.
