Position Overview
FedEx Express is seeking FAA-certified Aircraft Mechanics (A&P) to perform line and heavy maintenance on our cargo aircraft fleet. You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul airframe systems, powerplants, and avionics at FedEx hub maintenance facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on FedEx cargo aircraft per FAA-approved maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair airframe structures, hydraulic systems, landing gear, and flight control surfaces.
- Conduct engine inspections, borescope evaluations, and powerplant component replacements.
- Complete all maintenance documentation, logbook entries, and return-to-service signoffs per FAR Part 121.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve complex mechanical discrepancies.
