Position Overview

FedEx is seeking experienced Operations Managers to lead hub and station sort operations at high-volume facilities. You will manage teams of 25–100+ package handlers and dock workers, optimize throughput and scan accuracy, and maintain strict compliance with safety and service standards. This is a salaried leadership position with direct impact on FedEx network performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, staff, and supervise daily sort operations across multiple shifts at a FedEx hub or station.
• Monitor real-time volume forecasts and adjust staffing levels to maintain on-time dispatch targets.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate frontline supervisors and hourly team members.
• Enforce OSHA and FedEx safety standards, conducting regular audits and incident investigations.
• Analyze operational KPIs including cost-per-piece, misload rate, and employee retention to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Benefits

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent operations management experience. Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation. Strong analytical, communication, and team leadership skills required.
